We had a wonderful trip to Branson this year and it really helped to get me ready for Christmas. It's hard to go to SDC and not find the true meaning of Christmas. The Living Nativity is awesome as is the entire atmosphtere of the park. Ashley decided she actually wanted to visit Santa this year, so we saw this one at Branson Landing while doing a bit of shopping on Saturday evening. They had to rearrange things so we could get into the little house. Santa and the staff were so sweet. Santa gave Ashley a small stuffed penquin as well as a bell from his suit. He recognized her brand of wheelchair and confided that he uses one when he's not visiting with the kids.

It's Wednesday night and everyone else is asleep. Dh is snoring while DD is very restless. I'm hoping the thunder doesn't wake her. We're in a hotel and I am watching the severe weather on the weather channel that is headed our way. My biggest concern is for the possibility of hail. It was baseball size south west of here. Praying that is passes us by. The last thing we need is for the rental van to get smashed up.

There is a K-9 training in town and many of the officers and their dogs are staying at our hotel. DD of course wants to meet them all. At least I feel safe here tonight, lol.

My windows download is almost finished. I really need to try and get some sleep. We have another 3 hours or so to travel to Indy tomorrow. Can't wait to see our old friends and make some new ones.

Scrapping Therapy - I have so enjoyed getting to create some new layouts for the last week. I have loved the challenges at Scrapadilly.com and actually having the time to participate. Now I have a big mess that needs to be cleaned up. Maybe when I grow up I will learn to scrap neatly. Wouldn't that be something.

Here I go again, another attempt at a blog. I can't even remember when I set this page up but I did it so I could comment on my friend's blogs. I don't have any idea what I am doing or how to make this cute, but here it is and here I am.
